There are so many little things each of us can do that ultimately add up to big changes–”never underestestimate the ability of a small group of committed people to change the world,” said Margaret Mead.
Marguerite (whose blog La Marguerite can be found here) and I (whose blog Seacat can be found here) and a few others have come together to discuss a common interest: how do we change the thousand and one habits that make up our daily lives in order to become more green. We want to make a difference, but the challenges seem so huge–where to start?
We decided to start here: to create a blog space to discuss new ideas, challenges, daily thoughts and frustrations, products and innovations–all with the goal of changing how we live…little steps, big changes, like remembering to bring cloth bags to the grocery store, or setting up and actually using a composting system, riding a bike or a bus instead of using the car so much, remembering to recycle, or maybe buy your next purchase used instead of new.
So try something new today, change your brain, and share the little steps with us. Start anywhere, start here. And if you’d like to join our group, leave us a note–we’ll get back to you.
